Liontown premiered at the 2001 St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase and went on to screen at the 2002 Tulsa Overground Film Festival. It's third and final public screening was at the Omnimax theater at the St. Louis Science Center with a program entitled An Intimate Evening With Matt Sinopole & Jeremy Corray - a festival of shorts featuring either actor and also containing the debut of Grumboon.

Production

This was a 16mm film made for a final project of mine in film class. It was intended to be a forty minute musical with four or five songs and a dinosaur hero. The film in its current form was meant to be the introduction to the rest of the film, but then I realized how much money it would take to make a forty minute film on 16mm film, so I decided the intro was good enough for a class project.
