Happy Halloween!

The lineup for the 17th Annual St. Louis International Film Festival has been announced! I'd like you to consider checking out the following films:

Shadowland - November 14th, 10:30PM, Tivoli Theater - if you missed it at the 8th Annual St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase, now is your chance to redeem yourself. Aaron served as 1st assistant director on this "supernatural thriller"!

The Thacker Case - November 21st, 7:15PM, Tivoli Theater - the latest from Brian Jun (Steel City) is a crime thriller based on true events. Aaron served as 1st assistant director during their 2nd unit shoot in Alton, working with such talents as Michael Welch, Gabriel Mann, and Eliza Dushku.

And of course, our own Sorry To Miss The Affair will be screening as part of their St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase Shorts #2. We're in and amongst fine company and you can see them all on Friday, November 21st, at 5:00PM at the Tivoli Theater!

Not only will our music video Sorry To Miss The Affair screen on June 21st at Off Broadway (9PM, $7 admission) but it has been selected to screen at the 8th Annual St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase! It is part of their Shorts Program #1 "Dreamscapes" which shows at the Tivoli Theater at 9:30PM on July 21st!

There are also some other fine films that Aaron worked on screening at the Tivoli Theater as part of this year's Showcase - Shadowland (July 20th, 7PM) and Edgar Allan Poe's Ligeia (July 23rd, 7:15PM) - all ticketing info is available at http://www.cinemastlouis.org/showcase.html

In addition to all this, Aaron was proud to work as an editor with 88MM Productions on this year's 48 Hour Film Project - I just learned our film - Through A Dark Lens - has made it into the "Best of" screening, taking place at the Tivoli Theater on June 17th, 7PM.

Finally, good friend Brian Jun's debut feature film Steel City, an official Sundance selection, has finally made it to DVD so check it out on Netflix, Amazon, Blockbuster, Ebay, CNN, Yahoo, Google, wherever!

The producer of Barburyou - Oscar Madrid - is directing a feature called The Bloodfest Club - Rock N Roll Bacteria Productions is involved with this project and we wanted to forward information about an event they are holding on May 23rd.

Hey Gang,

We're holding a special benefit for our upcoming horror/comedy, The Bloodfest Club, at the Lucas School House and you're invited!

The event will take place at Lucas School House - 1220 Allen Ave., St. Louis, MO 63104 - on Friday, May 23rd at 7:00PM.

We've recently added some terrific sponsors to our event next month: Slackers CDs & Games, Jupiter Studios, PlaybackSTL, West End Grill & Pub, and St. Louis Actors' Studio are all donating some great prize packs full of DVDs, CDs, and tickets which we'll give away as raffle items. We will be adding many more in the coming weeks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.

A long time ago, director Wolfgang Lehmkuhl and I set out to edit his first masterpiece - CANNIBAL - over five years and one feature later, it is finally available on DVD - which you can pick up at a special, FREE screening of the film tomorrow evening at 9PM in the Spellmann Center, Room 3090 at Lindenwood University - refreshments and Q&A session are all included!

We also have a new project of our own - a music video for The Rats And People - the band who will be, eventually, providing the score for Barburyou. Cast & crew information and pictures are available here.
